ADFIAP organizes study tour program for Bank of Bhutan

Upon request of its member – the Bank of Bhutan (BOB) – ADFIAP has designed and organized a 3-country, 11-day study tour program for BOB in the Philippines (November 7-10), Singapore (November 10-13) and Malaysia (November 13-17) to learn good industry practices of different financial institutions in the countries mentioned. The delegation included six senior Board and management officials of the Bank.

The program aims to broaden the knowledge and appreciation of BOB’s key people on product development strategies and policies, outreach and IT system as well as human resource development and practices of the similar financial institutions in the region. The Manila programme included visits at the ADFIAP Secretariat, the Planters Development Bank, and the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) Savings Bank. In Singapore, the group visited the AFC Merchant Bank, the Banking Computer Services (BCS), Singapore Clearing House, the United Overseas Bank and E-Storm, an IT company. In Kuala Lumpur, the visits included Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia), CIMB Bank, Malaysia Debt Venture, Affin Bank and KJSB, Th Saujana, an IT company.
