As a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Philippines and as one of the pioneering organizations in the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), ADFIAP, represented by its Operations Group Head and Sustainability Officer, Mr. Enrique Florencio attended the UNGC-GRI Regional Summit on August 20, 2019 held at the Conrad Hotel, Pasay City, Metro Manila.
The event gathered more than 500 delegates from the private sector, government, academe and other sustainability stakeholders in the Philippines with the aim of strengthening the role of UNGC and GRI as a collaborative platform that links together companies and sustainable development stakeholders in building a business agenda for sustainable development.

It is the country’s thought leader in pursuing sustainable business, helping companies shape their corporate sustainability work to adhere to its ten principles and contribute to the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is an international organization that has pioneered sustainability reporting for two decades. It helps businesses and government understand and communicate their impact on critical sustainability issues and improve available data by providing tools that incorporate GRI standards as a reporting framework.
