Tekun Nasional is an agency under the Malaysian Ministry of Entrepreneurial and Cooperative Development established on November 9, 1998 to provide simple and quick financing facilities to indigenous Malays in order to kick-start and further expand their businesses. Since 2008, TEKUN Nasional has reorganized to cater to the current trends in becoming a strategic entrepreneur development partner for businesses instead of just being a financing body. Now, TEKUN Nasional is an institution that provides business opportunities as well as income generation opportunities, business capital financing, and guidance and support services as well as providing a networking platform for entrepreneurs.
