ADFIAP has released its 2013 sustainability report using the G4 reporting guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) during the ADFIAP 37th Annual Meetings on April 23-25, 2014 in Moscow, Russia.

The ADFIAP Sustainability Report 2013 gives an update on the priorities set out by ADFIAP since it started benchmarking its sustainability performance against the GRI disclosure guidelines in 2008. The report contains data and information on the various aspects of its operations and its performance for the 12-month period from January to December 2013.

In addition to annual updates in its sustainability performance, a more significant change in this report is its focus on the principle of materiality in accordance with the G4 sustainability reporting guidelines. By defining materiality, ADFIAP is able to prioritize issues relevant to the organization and its stakeholders on which it needs to take action.

The G4 is the fourth generation of the GRI guidelines which was launched in May 2013. It is designed to be universally applicable to all organizations of all types and sectors, large and small, across the world. The aim of the G4 is to help reporters prepare sustainability reports that matter and to make robust and purposeful sustainability reporting standard and practice. ADFIAP started using the new G4 guidelines after becoming one of the 84 organizations from 38 countries worldwide that belong to the GRI G4 Pioneers Program and an Organizational Stakeholder (OS) Member of the GRI.

GRI is a leading organization in the sustainability field that promotes the use of sustainability reporting as a way for organizations to become more sustainable and contribute to sustainable development.
