ADFIAP Secretariat meets with new JBIC country rep

JBICThe Japan Bank for International Cooperation’s (JBIC) new country representative for the Philippines, Mr. Takanori Satake, visited the ADFIAP Secretariat in Manila on June 11, 2013 as part of his task in engaging with the Bank’s stakeholders. JBIC is a member of ADFIAP and most of Philippine-based ADFIAP members are also clients of the Bank. Mr. Satake, who was with Mr. Sumio Ishikawa, erstwhile country representative, met with ADFIAP Secretary General, Mr. Octavio B. Peralta to update each other on the work and activities of their institutions.

JBIC,, aims to contribute to the sound development of Japan and international economy and society by conducting financial operation in four fields: promoting the overseas development and securement of resources which are important to Japan; maintaining and improving the international competitiveness of Japan industries; promoting the overseas business having the purpose of preserving the global environment, such as global warming and preventing disruptions to international financial order or taking appropriate measures with respect to damages cause by disruption.
