LWUAIn line with its sustainable development advocacy and its reaching out role to similar development-oriented organizations, ADFIAP, through its Knowledge Management Head and Sustainability Officer, Mr. Enrique Florencio, shared its e-learning platform to 50 participants from different local water associations in the Philippines during a seminar organized by the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) themed, “Effective Communication Through Media Networking”, held on July 29, 2015 at the Microtel UP Technohub in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Mr. Florencio presented the ADFIAP Networking, Education, and eXchange (A-NEX) portal, a single point of access and a gateway to e-learning resources and community activities which has been developed by the Association to share with its members knowledge and capacity-building programs in a more cost effective way considering their different geographic locations.

“As the umbrella organization of all water associations, LWUA can adapt the A-NEX portal since its members are scattered in different parts of the country, Mr. Florencio said”. In addition, Mr. Florencio discussed how to responsibly use the different social media channels and the countless opportunities that they offer, if maximally used.
