ADFIAP, University of Tokyo meet, discuss scholarship possibilities

University of TokyoThe University of Tokyo Graduate School of Public Policy represented by Mr. Toshiro Nishizawa and Senior Program Manager for International Affairs Office, Ms. Nobue Nachi, visited the ADFIAP International Headquarters in Manila, Philippines on November 6, 2013 to present the University’s Master of Public Policy, International Program (MPP/IP) which has a scholarship programme to deserving professionals currently working in institutions/agencies involved in the formulation of macroeconomic policies.

The MPP/IP is a 2-year English-taught masteral course that provides young professionals the opportunity to learn cutting-edge approaches to public policy from internationally-renowned faculty members of the University of Tokyo. Several scholarships from the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the International Monetary Fund and other public and private institutions are available for young professionals in eligible countries.

Mr. Nishizawa and Ms. Nachi met with the ADFIAP Secretariat represented by Ms. Sandra Honrado and Ms. Sandy Lim and with the ADFIAP consulting team represented by Ms. Cora Conde, Atty. Alberto Reyno, Ms. Arlene Orencia and Ms. Cristy Aquino to explain the MPP/IP and disseminate the program to ADFIAP-member institutions.
