Vietnam’s DAF New Member

The Development Assistance Fund (DAF) of Vietnam became the latest member of ADFIAP, bringing the total member’s count to 64 institutions in 32 countries.

DAF is a State financial institution founded in 1999 with major functions of mobilizing medium and long-term fund, i.e., receiving and managing capital sources of the State allocated in the form of development investment credit to implement the State’s policy on development investment assistance.

Major activities of DAF consist of (i) medium and long-term investment lending (ii) lending under Government’s agreements (iii) post-investment interest subsidy (iv) investment credit guarantee (v) ODA on-lending fund (vi) short-term export promotion credit and (vii) trust fund on-lending.

The Chairman of DAF is Mr. Nguyen Duc Khang.
