JCorp’s contribution to these programmes is through the provision of support for individual entrepreneurs who have identified new business opportunities under Johor Corporation Intrapreneur Scheme. JCorp also lends assistance by offering access to a vibrant business infrastructure, including identifying suitable premises, to foster the holistic entrepreneur development programmes. As at December 31, 2012, a total of 56 companies have registered under Johor Corporation Intrapreneur Scheme. Aggregate revenue achieved by the intrapreneur companies for the year ended December 31, 2012 was RM739.3 million while aggregate pre-tax profit rose 5.2% to RM44.6 million against RM42.4 million in the previous year.
