This year’s theme “Beyond Borders” reflects PNS aspiration for the Summit which set the agenda throughout. Seasoned international and local players shared their experiences and thoughts with the audience who wish to go beyond borders.

IFS 2015 brought in 400 delegates; local and international franchise founders, owners, CEOs, proprietors, potential master franchisees, entrepreneurs as well as professionals in the franchise industry met face to face with representatives of international brands, franchise owners and franchise gurus for 2 days under one platform to share and chart the future of the franchise industry. This year’s event was part of the second series of Summits organised by PNS in an effort to develop world-class entrepreneurs and business-leaders in the franchise industry.

The launching of the Summit was held a day earlier on the 6 of March 2015 by the Honourable Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Haji Abdul Razak. The Prime Minister in his speech reminded franchise operators to continue improving their services in order to ensure customers remain loyal to their brand especially in the ever competitive global market.
“IFS2015 was extremely well organized and the support of the Malaysian government and the commitment of PNS to help local businesses develop international franchise companies in Malaysia was clearly evident throughout the event. The attendees were knowledgeable and in many cases brand, or multi brand, operators. All in all a great event, hearty congratulations to all involved”. – Mr Martin Hancock, Chief Operating Officer – North America of World Franchise Associates.
