ASKI Global Ltd. migrant workers financial inclusion efforts recognized

ASKI Global Limited was recognized for its financial inclusion efforts during the Asia Microfinance Forum held last year in Shanghai, China. In his keynote speech, Mr. Robert Annibale, global director of Citi Microfinance and Community Development, highlighted ASKI Global Ltd. as an exemplary organization with its continued efforts in engaging the migrant worker communities based in Singapore in financial inclusion activities. Stakeholders from various sectors met during the forum to discuss and explore on innovative ideas, models and solutions that can help improve the lives of the hundreds of millions of people in Asia still living in poverty and without access to financial products and services. ASKI Global Ltd., as a supporting partner, also facilitated a panel session which examined issues related to leveraging remittances by a specific target market – the migrant workers.
