DBT, JBIC to cooperate in green investments in Turkey

A Memorandum of Understanding, aimed at providing financing for renewable energy and energy efficiency investments in Turkey, was signed on October 11, 2012 by the Development Bank of Turkey (DBT) and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). Mr. Metin Pehlivan, DBT Acting General Manager and Mr. ?rfan Tokgöz, DBT Board Member and Mr. Yutaka Funada, JBIC General Manager of Nuclear and Renewable Energy Finance Department attended the signing ceremony held in Tokyo.  Mr. Pehlivan cited the importance the Bank attaches to renewable energy and energy efficiency projects as part of DBT’s development banking activities.
