ADFIAP: A Look Back at 2017
2017 was another remarkable year for ADFIAP as the Association and its members continue to do their part in advancing sustainable development finance in the Asia-Pacific region.
For one, the theme of ADFIAP’s 2017 sustainability report is “Diversity and Inclusion” that strengthens the Association’s support to the achievement of the sustainable development goals (SDGs). The report features the work and advocacies of ADFIAP and its members in promoting cultural diversity, socioeconomic diversity, racial/ethnic diversity and gender diversity.
In addition, delegates to the 40th ADFIAP Annual Meetings held in Macao SAR, China in May 2017 issued a statement of support to the SDGs which reinforced ADFIAP’s commitment to the 17 global goals.
This year-end issue covers two parts. Part I showcases a sampling of ADFIAP members’ achievements on SMEs, financial inclusion, environment, social responsibility, technology, human capital, infrastructure, governance and local development while Part II features the Association’s accomplishments under its “4-P’s” thrust – Programs, Partnerships, Participation and Progress.
