ADFIAP and its Philippine-based members, Land Bank and DBP, have separately briefed a 5-person study mission from the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) on their work on sustainable finance and project preparation approaches, particularly in the energy, water, infrastructure and SME sectors during their visit to Manila on July 6 and 7, 2015. The mission, which also visited a private-sector water company in Manila, was supported by the Japanese government under the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD).

The Midrand, South Africa-based DBSA www.dbsa.org is a state-owned entity with the purpose of accelerating sustainable socio-economic development and improve the quality of life of the people of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) by driving financial and non-financial investments in the social and economic infrastructure sectors.
