ADFIAP briefs FPI officers on sustainability reporting

On invitation of the Federation of Philippine Industries (FPI) and in line with its advocacy in promoting sustainable development, ADFIAP conducted an executive briefing for senior FPI officers on sustainability reporting using the G4 sustainability reporting guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The briefing, which is part of FPI’s continuing effort to encourage its members to report their performance impact through sustainability reporting, was held on August 11, 2017 at the FPI Headquarters in Quezon city, Metro Manila, Philippines.

During the briefing, ADFIAP’s Sustainability Officer & Knowledge Resources Executive, Mr. Enrique Florencio, presented trends in international business reporting that provides the context for sustainability reporting. He also discussed the processes in the preparation of a sustainability report as well as the integration of different sustainability frameworks, including the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals which are already embedded in the G4 reporting mechanism.
