ADFIAP, AADFI ink bilateral cooperation pact

ADFIAP and the Association of African Development Finance Institutions(AADFI) signed a bilateral memorandum of cooperation to strengthen their relationship and undertake joint initiatives for the benefit of their respective constituencies.

The agreement, inked in Kuala Lumpur on March 26, 2010 in the sidelines of the study tour program on small and medium enterprise (SME) finance organized by ADFIAP’s Institute of Development Finance (IDF) – see related story – will cover co-organizing events in the areas of SMEs, environment, social and governance and related topics as well as exchanges of knowledge resources and best practices.

Mr. Octavio B. Peralta and Mr. Joseph Alfred Amihere, Secretaries General of ADFIAP and AADFI, respectively, signed the agreement which was witnessed by Mr. Isidro A. Sobrecarey and Mr. Cyril Amaechi Okoye, Deputy Secretary General and Training Manager of ADFIAP and AADFI, respectively, as well as the participants of the study tour program.
