ADFIAP, USAID Green Invest Asia explore collaboration

At a meeting on April 25, 2019 at its Manila headquarters, ADFIAP, represented by its Secretary General, Octavio B. Peralta, and USAID Green Invest Asia, represented by its Deputy Chief of Party, Natcha Tulyasuwan, discussed areas of synergy and explored collaboration opportunities in capacity-building and research on sustainable finance with a focus on agriculture and forestry.

For many years, ADFIAP has advocated for and built capacity on sustainable finance of its over 100 member-development finance institutions (DFIs) through annual conferences, training programs, and publications. Most its members have lending and investment portfolios in green/climate finance that contribute to low-carbon and resilient economies.

USAID Green Invest Asia https://greeninvestasia.com/ is a platform to increase sustainable financing for agricultural and forestry commodities across Southeast Asia. Through partnering, co-investing and transforming how business is practiced, the platform is helping create a more robust finance ecosystem that supports sustainable land-use practices and responsible investing.
