ADFIAP’s Institute of Development Finance (IDF) and its advisory service unit, the ADFIAP Consulting (AC) group, jointly conducted the “Seminar-Workshop on Credit Risk Management Modeling for Financial Institutions” on August 19-23, 2013 in Manila, Philippines. Thirteen (13) officers involved in lending and finance operations from ADFIAP members in Bhutan, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Philippines attended the training course.
The program was designed to equip lending officers and small and medium enterprise (SME) business development officers of financial institutions on the necessary tools, knowledge and best practices in lending under a risk-mitigated environment. It was also aimed at enhancing the overall capacity of financial institutions in evaluating SME project proposals, specifically in relation to financial, environmental, technical and market aspects.
The resource persons of the seminar were Ms. Cora Conde, AC Group Head, Atty. Alberto Reyno, AC Managing Partner, Ms. Arlene Orencia, AC Head of Projects and Programs, Ms. Cecille Ibarra, AC Head of Training and Advocacy and Ms. Ma. Cristina Aquino, AC Head for Business Development.
